Winnwood Apartments

1460 West Peachtree

Built in 1931, the Winnwood Apartments is a brick Georgian Revival style apartment building located in Midtown. The Winnwood Apartments are an excellent example of a garden apartment with its open, deep U-shaped footprint, central courtyard, and lack of porches. Behind the building is a one-story, brick and wood multi-stall garage, constructed at the same time as the apartments.  

Currently, the building is being repurposed into studio apartments, including preservation and a full restoration of the building’s historic exterior. The building was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
