Atlanta Regional Historic Preservation Forum
Mark your calendar for the next Atlanta Regional Commission’s Historic Preservation Forum, to be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. The program, developed by the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, is a continuation of February’s discussion about tax incentives available for historic properties – this time focusing on historic preservation easements.
The event is hosted by the Atlanta Preservation Center and will feature Easements Atlanta, Inc. and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. Easements Atlanta will give a presentation focusing on program basics, legal issues, and Metro Atlanta case studies. The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation will follow and discuss the topic of preservation easements as part of their Revolving Fund program, including Metro Atlanta and statewide case studies.
Contact Allison Duncan at 404-463-3284 or aduncan@atlantaregional.com with any questions. Please share the event with colleagues, property owners and contacts who may be interested.
